We need to protect our eyes from harmful radiation - mainly from the Blue end of the colour spectrum - and this means the wearing of Dark Glasses, with or without prescriptions as required, whenever we are out in bright dazzling light situations especially.

The production of the FRs, especially the excessive production of FRs need to be neutralized by the adequate intake of appropriate antioxidants.

These should come from a good diet of Grains, fresh Fruits and Vegetables (at least 5 - 8 portions of a variety of each), Berries (especially the darker coloured berries - blueberries, blackberries, dark grapes, etc) and legumes.

Nature works by having all the nutrients - called Phyto(plant)nutrients working together - called synergistically - and never in isolation.
